Not only did he keep his eyes on the everlasting prize of heaven, but also on the Italian mountains of his youth. It was on those mountains where he led others to Christ through the struggles of mountain climbing. Might we all learn from this Catholic evangelist, which at the core of the Church’s being, is Her mission. God be praised, now and forever.
