“The family that prays together, stays together.” That is the message of today’s video from cold New England. We listen today to a wonderful priest who is serving the Lord in snowy New England by providing assistance to pilgrims, but in a unique circumstance on this day.

Today’s Story

Thanks to our fans and lots of prayers, this mission continues to pick up momentum into 2012. The missionary spirit is thriving in the streets of Denver on this fine Saturday. How? A team has begun to form in Denver, a group of young Catholics who are ready for this mission to truly answer the call of Pope Benedict XVI. “It falls in particular to young people, who have an almost spontaneous affinity for these new means of communication, to take on the evangelization of this ‘digital continent.’ Wow! What an amazing quote, and from a man who has crept up into his 80s! And yet he still understands the opportunity we Catholics behold to open new bridges to non-Catholics around the world with the saving message of Jesus Christ and the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church! Who will be it’s heralds?

The last question in the prior paragraph is a serious question, who will be it’s heralds? Only the Lord can bring forth more Video Missionaries, but perhaps it is you? Tonight, we honor the return of ‘Irish Steve’ to America! He has returned home and we will be toasting his great pilgrimage at an Irish Pub in downtown Denver. Don’t worry, we will record the entire evening and post it to the website next week. To put the experience simply, ‘his life was changed forever.’ Find out how next week when we post the video. God be praised, now and forever! PS – the Pope sent his first personal tweet on Thursday!
