Folia com Cristo – Vlog # 11
On 5 Feb. after the retreat we went to an event in the center of Rio de Janeiro called Folia com Cristo. It was like a Catholic Carnaval celebration. This event is celebrated before the actual Carnaval because many Catholics go on retreats during the week of Carnaval. It happened to take place on the hottest day of the year in Rio, 40 degrees C (104 F).
