Cast Out Your Irish NET
Leading retreats, what’s been your experience in this area of Catholic evangelization? NET Ministries has mastered youth retreats and ministering to the young people of nations around the world, including, but not limited to: United States of America, Canada, Australia, and Ireland. Any thoughts on where they will be in 2020?
Today’s Story
Since launching the mission of OneBillionStories.com, two years ago on January 3rd, 2010, the Holy Spirit has been leading many young men and women to our mission on the ‘digital continent.’ In fact, one of the first 10 stories ever recorded for this global Internet grounded mission was from an infamous alum of NET Ministries; you will find it below this video. Know the man?
In this story on the 6th of January, ‘Irish Steve’ divinely stumbles upon the great mission of NET Ministries again. For as Jesus said 2,000 years ago, ‘cast into the deep.’ Steve and these two NET missionaries lay out the basics of what it takes to evangelize the youth of any nation in the 21st century. And how exciting to do it by living out of a suitcase, driving a 12 passenger van across foreign countries, and most importantly, encountering the future of Christ’s Church, the Catholic Church. These young men jumped on the opportunity to lay down their life for the future of Catholicism in the world, not an incredibly common storyline of the 21st century, unfortunately.
Fear cannot exist in the eyes of young people with the modern day blunder of pop-media and unfortunate distractions this culture produces, daily. Perhaps you know of a young man or woman who needs some focus in their life? ‘Be not afraid’ to tweet, like, or forward these Irish Catholic stories to the palm of their hand with just one click. Our team does not ask for financial backing, but we do ask for your active engagement in sharing these Catholic stories with your circle of influence; not to mention, visiting the apostolate of NET ministries which forms today’s stories by clicking on their link just above.
