Today’s Story

By the end of today’s story, Brian makes a great comparison to the movie the Matrix. At one time or another, we all may feel a disconnect between our body and our heart, that was this man’s experience before becoming Catholic; similar to the Matrix. However, thanks to the guidance of a grandmother, Brian was able to overcome the Matrix-like dichotomy of his own life. Believe it or not, a profound moment of his journey came at a book store when he was searching for the best version of the Bible to purchase for his spiritual nourishment. It was at that book store that someone else’s story came in contact with his story, which led to a profound moment of grace and clarity for his personal discernment.
