Today’s Story
Two religious sisters from Spokane, Washington, share today their very unique story for all of you on the ‘digital continent.’ The Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church emerged from a group of ‘traditionalists’ who unfortunately, had fallen away from the Church. The group was skeptical toward Vatican II, the Pope, and the non-Latin Mass. Although this was and continues to be a tough situation for the Catholic Church around the world, our team believes it is important to spark dialogue about the topic. Even the young people of the Church are beginning to find peace and belonging in quote-on-quote ‘traditional’ Catholic traditions, such as adoration, no meat on Fridays, or full habited nuns. Let us say an extra prayer today for those Catholics who have fallen into schism over Vatican II, Hail Mary….
Please share your opinions at the bottom of this page. We believe this is a topic that should be discussed by all Catholics. Because moving forward further and further into the 21st century, Catholics and all Christians must realize that the tide of secularism and atheism continues to rise. Without unity in the Christian family, with the Holy Father as our leader, and the Magisterium of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church to guide us all, what message will we be sending to the rest of the world?
