Father Matt Williams, this is for you:Love makes the world go around.A man and a woman marry-along comes a child and then another, etc….no time to think for there is so much work to do.Now fast forward in this nuclear era and nuclear families-One child is married and living in a distant city.Another child is married and living in a distant city, etc. You are now retired and facing 24/7-no children to greet you in the morning nor even a fellow employee-this 24/7 with no-one to share it with is not natural, not healthy-Maybe I should have been a priest or a nun for they surely know how to do manage solitude but I did not choose that direction in life.Maybe I can remove the loneliness of life by watching TV.This is not a healthy choice for it does not involve human interaction.Perhaps this is the cause of Alzheimer’s disease in our modern world?Peace be with you.God help us all.
The solution - adopt a child.
