Pope Francis in Philippines: Mercy and Compassion Trailer

When Pope Francis visits the Philippines this January 15-19, 2015, it will be a tremendous blessing to a nation whose covenant with God has been tested in recent years due to natural disasters, like Typhoon Haiyan.
The spotlight will not be on Pope Francis, but on the towns and villages devastated by “Haiyan,” the strongest typhoon on record in the Philippines. The typhoon’s destructive path displaced four million people and destroyed over one million homes. Videos of loved ones who lost family members, sharing their stories, and hoping for mercy and compassion from the global community will be featured here on this website, leading up to the Papal visit in the Philippines, this January 2015.
